Classic. I'm an old fart like that. But really, what makes a zombie a zombie? Mindless, rotting, shambling cannibals, right? So changing something in the definition makes them less like what they are.

Well, yes, if you stick to the classic definition. but new spins on things are refreshing, and the idea of people being infected with rage was a terribly realistic idea and seems to be far more entertaining and terrifying to meeee, that is. but all zombies are awesome, i love them regardless of their speed, lol. 80's zombies and their brain eating are great, for sure!

They're new and different. That is, they're different things entirely. Still entertaining, of course, but just not zombies. Granted, zombies are the closest things to the infected for a comparison, but they're different things.

haha yea, i think what really defines a zombie is something that dies and then is...reanimated? undead...? So I suppose the zombies in Resident evil are legit zombies. and they are fast fuckers~!! haha.
