It was a toss up between pirates and samurais but the Revolutionary War was an interesting time so in the end the swashbuckling buccaneers won out :D

had to vote 1800's at first i was like "oooh egypt!" and then "oooh renaissance ~!" but then i was like ...ya know what? i want the option of either england with the dapper gents and ladies and/or america where all yall folks were out on the porch sippin lemonade wavin to the kiddies as they road their bikes to the general store and no one was worried they'd be nabbed up or killed or raped because no one believed in bad people and bad people were far and few in between. it just seems like a pleasant time.

then again i might get bored with everything being loverly and quaint.
