Hey! So, I know it's been forever since I posted the last comment, so I'd just like to say, how are you? I'm doing great, just in case you're wondering .
Anyway, so I've come up with an idea for a western/disney fairy tale. It's little Red riding Hood. I was just thinking of what popular fairy tales disney's not done yet, and that's what I thought of, and I also thought it would make a good western.
So, Red is obviously a cowgirl. Her family owns a huge ranch, with cows, horses, pigs, chickens, you name it! I haven't decided on her age yet; she's going to be either 16, 17, or 18. However, despite her age her parents are still a bit condescending, and sometimes even overprotective, especially with a monster wolf or wolves on the loose. But Red is brave, maybe even a little headstrong, and restless, so when her grandmother in the woods gets sick, she begs her parents to let her go and see her and bring her some treats. Hesitantly, her parents finally relent and let her go. Red also has another motive for wanting to visit her grandmother, though. She thinks she'll be able to defeat the wolf, and become a hero. But what happens when she actually encounters the wolf is something she never expected. Dun, dun, DUN!
So yeah, I hope you like it! I'll draw up some designs soon and post them. Also, I think you should continue your western Belle idea. You should illustrate the whole story in old west style, in my opinion. Unless you don't want to, of course. I just find it very cool!
