Myself as Princess Peach!
An original design. A mix of Fantasy, Couture, Steam Fashion, and Princess Peach herself.
I saw fanart once of Peach as a more fantasy type character- having more to do with actual nature, seeing as she's the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom, which I love- since the fact she's a normal looking human in a world full of strange creatures, I feel like she could use some interesting revamps- so I added real dried mushroom caps on my arm along with dried moss and small flowers to make myself appear more earthly and fantasy-esque.The choker was created for me by Jessica Galbreth at The Victorian Garden: www.etsy.com/listing/94948125/…
I had the Aquamarine made especially for this costume, and I ADORE this piece, it's just so perfect and gorgeous!
The custom goggles were made by our Luigi, Mike Czech- he made everyone's goggles, and they were just incredible!
The Adorable Bustle and lace cuffs were made by Kim Piggott- also our Daisy!
You can't really see my wings in this shot, but I made my own wings out of craft feathers and wooden letters, which I sprayed gold and attached to a handmade wooden skeleton that stuck right into the back of my corset. They were supposed to represent the gift she sends Mario in the 3rd Game: greatgamingcrusade.com/2011/09…
The bottle contains dried maple leaves, to represent the Tanooki Leaf from the 3rd game as well. collider.com/wp-content/image-…
Lastly, the contacts and the Wig are the same from my other Peach outfits!
Last but not least, the group made it into this really gorgeous convention Video by Michael Zhang (@3:23): youtu.be/S953f2xIHIA Worn at Sakuracon 2012, Seattle WA
